Our
spirit is our eternal identity, the eternal identity that already registered in
heaven in the name of Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.
With
this identity, we have the same spirit as Jesus has gotten from His Father. So,
we have the same identity as Jesus as the God's children.
As
the children we have the same chance as what Jesus have accepted from Father.
Cause we have one spirit with Jesus Christ, so the eternal life of our
"spiritual body", will get also from God until to heaven.
God forms/creates the human spirit
Zechariah 12 A prophecy: The word of the Lord concerning Israel. 1. The Lord, who stretches out the heavens, who lays the foundation of the earth, and who forms the human spirit within a person, declares:
It means, the human spirit is very precious.
God knows our heart:
Proverbs 20:27, The human spirit is the lamp of the Lord that sheds light on one’s inmost being.
Job 32:8, But it is the spirit in a person, the breath of the Almighty, that gives them understanding.
Jesus Promises the Holy
Spirit. The Holy Spirit is in our heart.
John 14: 15-21
15 “If you love me,
keep my commands. 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you
another advocate to help you and be with you forever— 17 the
Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees
him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in
you. 18 I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to
you. 19 Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will
see me. Because I live, you also will live. 20 On that
day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I
am in you. 21 Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who
loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too
will love them and show myself to them.”
One in spirit with God.
2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is the
Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
1 Corinthians 6:17 But whoever is united with
the Lord is one with him in spirit.
Spirit-spirit
communication:
John 4:24 God is
spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” And John
10:30 I and the Father are one.”
It means, the
interaction/communication with GOD by using our spirit and only in the truth is
HIS Son (JESUS).
Life by the Spirit and
Walking with spirit and do not with flesh
The Spirit interest
versus Body interest
Galatians 5:16 So I say, walk by the
Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. 17 For the
flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary
to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to
do whatever you want.
Fruit of Spirit:
Galatians 5
22 But the
fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness,
goodness, faithfulness,
23. gentleness and
self-control. Against such things there is no law.
24 Those who belong
to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
25 Since we live by
the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.
The Same as Jesus: We are the God’s Children
Romans 8:16 The Spirit himself testifies with
our spirit that we are God’s children.
The authority have given to the Son
John 5:20-22
20 For the Father loves the Son and shows
him all he does. Yes, and he will show him even greater works than
these, so that you will be amazed.
21 For just as the Father raises the dead and
gives them life, even so the Son gives life to whom he is pleased to
give it.
22 Moreover, the Father judges no one, but has
entrusted all judgment to the Son.
John 16:28 I came from the Father and entered the world; now I am leaving the world and going back to the Father.”
Conclusion
We have our human spirit. Interaction with God in spirit and in the name of Jesus.
Our spirit is the eternal identity.
As children of God, we have spirit of the son so if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to our mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.
