A. Mathew 5 1-12; 6: what we should do as believer.

Mat 6:

·        1-2.We should not be arrogant or self-important, we can lose earnings.

·        3-4. Keep as a secret, only you and God knows.

·        5-6. when we are praying to God, don’t be hypocrite.

·        7-8. Give simple pray...God knows everything.

·        16-18. if we are fasting... no need to show or to say.

·        19-20. we have to know what is treasure in heaven.

·        31-33. the 1^st is kingdom of heaven and then anything else will be added.

 

B. Two sample parables about Kingdom of Heaven

1.      Mathew 20: 1-16; the parable of Kingdom of heaven.  It is a mystery in working at the fields of the Lord.

2.      Matthew 25:14-30; The Parable of the Bags of Gold; about the loyalty.  

²¹ “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’

²⁶ “His master replied, ‘You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed?

C. What we do on earth, it will be recorded by God in heaven. Spiritual activities are the fruits of spirit.

Mathew 18; ¹⁸ “Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

Revelation 22: ¹² “Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done.
